Remove Black Bars When Vertical Mirroring

If your TV is placed vertically but the mirrored screen still shows black bars on the left and right sides, don’t worry — this issue can be permanently fixed by adjusting one simple setting в 1001 TVs TV App.

Follow the steps below to make your vertical content truly full screen and fully immersive.


❶ Open the 1001 TVs TV App and Go to “Setting”

❷ Tap “Portrait display mode”

❸ Choose “Scale to fill the screen” to Expand the Display

Tips About Display Options

Inside Vertical Display Mode you will see three choices:

  • Keep aspect ratio
    Keeps original proportions; black bars may remain depending on the device.
  • Keep aspect ratio and fill screen
    Fills one side while keeping correct proportions.
  • Scale to Fill the screen
    Expands the content to fully fill the vertical TV
